Mariah Carey has been photographed being dried off by two assistants after she swam in the Mediterranean Sea. The 'Touch My Body' singer, who has a reputation for being a diva, enjoyed a peaceful swim on her second honeymoon with husband Nick Cannon off the island of Capri. As she emerged from the water, Mariah was quickly met by two assistants bearing towels, who then proceeded to ensure she was completely dry by rubbing her all over. A source said: "Mariah looked in absolute heaven as she was dried off. She just held out her arms to her side and let the assistants get rid of any water remaining on her body."

Mariah, 38, has previously revealed she likes being called a diva because it means she is successful. She said: "They throw that word around like it's a Frisbee! I grew up hearing it, because my mother is an opera singer. The actual definition is 'a talented female singer'. Definition two is 'a difficult woman who is successful,' I believe. So I take it as a compliment."

Despite her reputation, Mariah insists she doesn't make enough demands. The 38-year-old star said: "You know what? I guess I am a diva in many ways! When it comes to certain things, yes, I can be difficult and a little bit rigid about what I want. Am I demanding? I don't think I'm demanding enough."

That's just Sad!!! Not Suprising at all for her. I never have liked her music, I think she's so-so pretty but not gorgeous. She's one of those that has probably never been told no by anyone in her whole life. I'm sure she has someone wiping her butt to.

oh please...you have to be smoking something to believe this story...i saw those pics of somebody on that boat handing her a towel..guess what he was just part of the crew working on the boat...it's not like his only job is to towel off mariah...get real people and stop hating the most talented singer in the world (and by the way if anyone has the right to be demanding it might as well be someone who is truly talented...)

Taste sure is a personal thing - "the most talented singer in the world"!?!?!?
By my reckoning she is anything but that, since talent also means the ability to be heard without the listener wanting to wretch. I do think she may be the person most in love with the smell of her own farts, though. And please, don't put a video on YouTube decrying how everybody "hates Mariah...leave Mariah alone, boo hoo".

don't want to start an argument but... 175 million records sold, 18 number songs (passed elvis at 17 and just behind the beatles with 20) ,artist of the decade award (90's),endless other awards...i can go on and on ...you may not like her but to doubt her talent is like doubting her success... one STUPID thing to do...( i won't post another reply to this thread, arguing with haters is a waste of time)

Not disputing the numbers, Michael Jackson was big too - or so I'm told. Mariah is hot - she can come over to service me any time day or night and demonstrate her TALENT. But if she opens her mouth to start to sing, as Chrissy Hynde once said "I'll show her what that hole is for"!
