PC Gaming Future?
Do you think PC gaming will continue to strive in the future? Or will it die a slow death, and all games transition to consoles?

Nah it will never die. yes it will never be as popular as it was now that next gen consoles are out.

it will never truly die due to things like windows games like solitare and mindsweeper, and casual fare like popcap. i don't think that "hardcore" pc gaming will ever go away either, but i don't know how much that market will grow. as the console market gets larger and larger, the focus will continue to be there because that is where the money is. it gets harder all the time to even go into a store and buy pc games, even at a gaming retailer like gamestop. services like steam help, and will hopefully be the future of pc gaming. i'm not a huge fan of the idea of digital distribution for consoles (i guess is still like having a library of games to look at), but for some reason i love it for pc games. that may be another topic of discussion altogether

I don't think it will die. consoles are becoming more like pc's every day, So in a sense, consoles are mini pc's, but I still prefer full size pc's.
