It was great from start to finish.. Favreau and Downey both proved themselves quite capable as director and lead actor.. after seeing it I can't imagine anyone else having played Tony Stark
looking forward to the sequels and getting a little War Machine into the action I hope everyone stayed to the end of the credits heh |

if you arent a big comic book person, you really dont need to stay after the credits. i know nothing about any comics and i had no idea what was going on.
movie was great though |

I saw Iron Man last Thursday and it was awesome! Extremely enjoyable from start to finish. Robert Downey Jr. was a great choice for the role of Tony Stark! I can't wait for the sequels!

so there's a bunch of geek talk online as to whether or not this is an easter egg inside the movie.. a prelude of things to come.. or just overactive imaginations
was Tony Stark working on the shield for the super soldier project? because on the work table behind him it sure looks like a round shield with a star in the center of it |

For a first film in a marvel series it was one of the better ones, hopefully the sequels will be even better.

I had a feeling that was set up to be a series. They made plenty of references to Starks love for alcohol (riding in the hummer with a mixed drink) which could be a character flaw to pop up later plus with the introduction of the S.H.E.I.L.D. agent (and Sam Jacksons cameo) this seemed to be a nice stepping stone. I felt that the movie was kinda short in a way though. Don't get me wrong, I love every second of it but it did leave me wanting more which is a good thing I guess for a possible franchise.
