Connery was excellent. Brosnan did a great job in Goldeneye but the latter films were poor. I thought Craig was a revelation in Casino Royale, certainly my favourite since he carried off the smooth parts but was really gritty when necessary.

I picked Dalton. Really liked the hard edge to his performance. Also enjoyed Craig, but i think a lot of that was to do with the story line. First book and all. Moores bond was just too camp for me.
