Haha how was Beckham overpriced? No world-class football player would move to play in the US unless it was for a huge sum of money. He is still a great player + he is the most famous player in the world.. Beckham is a brand, and LA Galaxy are tapping into that. He may seem overrated playing in the MLS but how can he supply his world-famous crosses to sub-standard players?

It's tough not to say Zito. That guy's just terrible. I don't know how someone can say Sidney Crosby... sure he's in more commercials than he probably should be, but he won the NHL MVP when he was still on his entry-level contract, which basically means that they were paying the best playing in the league a fraction of what other top stars were making.

I'll jump on the Zito bandwagon too. The contract was already bad enough when he signed it and now that he's been moved to the bullpen makes it look even worse now.
