Smallville Product Placements

Did anyone watch Smallville on E4 last night (12 August). The product placements was shocking. The soundtrack from start of the episode through to the finsh were 'One Republic' songs, also featuring them playing live at a gig.
There were also placements for mobile phones, cars (trucks), fruit juice.... and the list goes on.
It was like watching a tv commercial.
Sorry to moan about this, it just gets to me, it competely ruins the whole show.

By the way I quite like One Republics 'Stop and Stare' song

old episode, the # one thing they advertised was Stride (the gum) and they did it cause for season 8 the CW is only giving them the same amount of funding that they would give to a brand new show like if they want to test it out to see if ppl would like it.....that much, so they need the cash....advertise

I watch Smallville and have seen a few episodes like that. They have a band playing somewhere in the show and then some of their music throughout and at the end run a quick commercial about the bands album and where to buy it. That happens a lot on several shows on the CW. Their cheap way of advertising

I know the Right loves to call it the Liberal Media.. fact is and always has been Corporate Media but you'll never hear that from them.. TG for DVR's at least when the real commercials air they're easy Not 2 Watch .. Afraid it's only gonna get worse...
